Faith Formation for Youth
Our Faith Formation Program encourages each person to grow in their Christian faith from childhood through adulthood. Youth, in Grades 7-12, use Bible lessons and situations from their lives to explore issues of faith, ethics, relationships and personal growth.

Confirmation
The first step of child’s faith journey may have begun years ago with the sacrament of Holy Baptism. Baptism symbolizes the beginning of life in a Christian faith community. At baptism, parents, godparents, and the congregation pledge their support to help these children understand God’s love and grace. As children grow in this faith and reach their teenage years, the United Church of Christ and the United Methodist Church present these teens with an opportunity to reaffirm those baptismal vows through the process of Confirmation.
Our church offers a Confirmation Program to High School age youth in Grades 10-12. We have prepared a series of meetings, retreats, educational and community service experiences to help these teenagers grow in their understanding of the responsibilities of being a person of faith and living a Christian life.
If you are thinking about Confirmation this year, please consider joining us for the Confirmation Retreat, to be held at Horton Center the weekend of October 1-3, 2021. Learn more in the retreat brochure.
